WHAT'S FOR DINNER?

Gentle Readers . . . and Maxwell,

It's very hot and my eyes are tired and I have a bit of a headache and Willy Dunne Wooters done hurt my feelings.

For dinner I want a frozen strawberry margarita with a sugar rim. Then for dessert I want a frozen strawberry margarita with a sugar rim. Evening snack? I bet you can figure it out.

Oi, do I have a story to tell you about my refrigerator. But another day, darlings.

Infinities of love,

Janie Junebug

  2. I can't begin to guess what happened, Janie, but I am sorry. If there's any way I can help, you know where to find me. Get some rest and sleep and interact with your dogs. They will have you smiling again in no time.

    1. Willy Dunne Wooters helped me smile again. I have teased him relentlessly for hurting my feelings. I don't think he'll be quite so stupid again. He'll just do something else stupid, but I hope, less stupid.

  3. He hurt your feelings? If he doesn't have a strawberry margarita with a sugar rim in your hand within the next five minutes, I'll kick his ass for you. He isn't allowed to hurt your feelings and he better make it up to you ten times over.

    1. Don't you worry, my dear. When Willy gets in trouble he always makes up for it. And he takes his punishment like a man.

    1. They did, but picking on him and teasing him helped even more.

  6. Well, just shame on Willie, and tell him I said so. Don't give yourself a headache over it.

    1. He is snoring away at the moment. When he wakes, I shall chide him on your behalf.

  7. I can't wait for a sizzling refrigerator story. Maybe "sizzling" isn't the right word to associate with a refrigerator.

    1. I felt a little sizzled. I was standing in a pool of water and touched the back of the refrigerator. Very tingly! I unplugged the refrigerator and lived to tell the tale.
